This Saturday, August 19th, is the one and only Chester Pride, a fantastic annual event that celebrates all things LGBTQ+, while raising awareness and advocating for equal rights.

The shindig has been going on since 2013, with the first event taking place outside Chester Town hall with approximately 2,500 people in attendance… and this year, the Nice N Naughty team will be putting in an appearance during the day, so make sure you come and say hi!

You’ll certainly be in most excellent company indeed if you do decide to pop down, as last year’s event saw around 21,000 people take to the city streets to show their support, so you can bet that this year’s fiesta will be even bigger and even better.

Tickets are available now and you can pay what you’re able to afford, with prices starting from £5. If you choose to buy on the day, tickets are available at £10. You can also pay in advance for your drinks with an e-gift card, which gives you an on-the-day discount across all bars on site… certainly not to be sneezed at!

As for what’s on, you’ll find Castle Square abuzz with parades, live music and lots of entertainment, as well as food and drink, a marketplace, a health, life and wellbeing zone, a children’s area and a whole lot more to keep you busy well until 8pm, when it finally shuts up shop.
