We, here at Nice ‘n’ Naughty have always been firm believers that individuals have a right to live their best life and have always supported local and national charities through fundraising and sponsorship.
Each year we look to focus a charity that has touched one of our teams lives, and show our support for all the work they do to make an individuals life richer, safer, or simply more comfortable in their last days. Every charity in the UK does remarkable work to make the future a brighter place.
This year Nice ‘n’ Naughty have chosen not 1 but 4 charities to get behind, with 2 of the charity’s dedicated to the fight of breast cancer.
The Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network: The Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK was founded by Caroline Ballinger whose daughter was diagnosed with IBC in 2011. At the time of her daughter’s diagnosis, it quickly became clear that there was no IBC-specific support, information, or research in the UK. Their charity is run entirely by volunteers.
Wear It Pink UK: The Wear It Pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK which takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now. Together, the nation has been wearing it pink for over 20 years and raised over £37 million in the process through fundraising events across the county.
Mind: The mental health charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding; working to ensure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect
The Menopause Charity: With a vision of a world where the menopause is embraced and viewed as an opportunity for new beginnings, adventures and opportunities. They are fighting for a world where all women have access to evidence-based information and appropriate care and treatment. A world where everyone understands the changes that occur in a woman’s body during perimenopause and menopause and are equipped to help manage them.
Each of the above charities above all hold special meaning for the team at Nice ‘n’ Naughty, with many having friends and family who have needed the support of these remarkable organisations. So, help us show our support with your support too.
